Yayla says that as an Institute they have been fighting against sunn pest for many years, and used the following expressions:
"As part of the national sunn pest control project of our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, we produced and brought the sunn pest parasitoid together with nature. In the following period, the damage to the sunn pest started to decrease to the minimum level. This year, we have released 150 thousand sunn pests parasitoid. Our works are not limited to Adana. "We contribute to the biological control of the sunn pest by sending the sunn pest parasitoids in close regions. So far, we have made a very serious fight against the sunn pest population by releasing 45 million sunn pest parasitoids to the wheat fields."
Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Director Yusuf İzzet Işık noted that they set up teams every year to detect the damage to the wheat planted areas.
